Our project at 1930 E Huntingdon involves expanding the existing three-story building by adding two additional floors, resulting in a total of five stories. The expansion will include a rear addition extending from the first floor to the roof. This new addition will house 28 residential units distributed across the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors.
The ground floor will be designated for industrial use, occupying at least 50% of the space, which equates to a minimum of 3,018.5 square feet. A separate use permit will be filed to address the specifics of this industrial component. Additionally, the first floor will feature a residential lobby to serve as the main entrance for the residential units above.
To support the increased demand for parking and bike storage, the project includes 17 parking spaces, with one being ADA van accessible, and 10 bike spaces positioned along an accessible route. The development will also involve the demolition of the existing structure as outlined in the plans to facilitate the new construction.
