Chabad Serving Drexel University

Parallel Architecture Studio is participating to the visionary transformation of the building located at the heart of Drexel University's vibrant campus – the Chabad House Renewal Project.

This project will bring to life a multi-functional space on the basement and 1st floor, serving as the heart of the Chabad House. Here, students and members of the community will find a welcoming sanctuary for spiritual exploration, engaging in meaningful discussions, and partaking in various activities. The carefully curated interior will combine modern aesthetics with traditional elements, creating an atmosphere of comfort and inspiration.

The 2nd floor will be thoughtfully transformed into a private and spacious apartment, providing a home for the Chabad family as they continue their tireless dedication to supporting students and fostering a nurturing environment.

Furthermore, the 3rd floor will house three beautifully designed apartments, offering convenient and attractive accommodation for students to live in close proximity to the Chabad House community.

Our renovation and design concept seek to strike a harmonious balance between spiritual reflection and contemporary living. By transforming the Chabad House into a multifunctional space, we aim to create a vibrant hub that fosters personal growth, community engagement, and a stronger connection to Jewish heritage for the Drexel University community.
