800 Callowhill St

Parallel Architecture Studio is thrilled to announce the completion of our latest project at 800-808 Callowhill Street, located in the Callowhill neighborhood of Lower North Philadelphia. This multi-family development features nine four-story buildings, providing a total of 40 residential units. The site, nestled between North 8th Street and North 9th Street, is set in a predominantly industrial area, offering a unique urban living experience.

The project aims to enhance the residential landscape of the neighborhood, blending modern architecture with the historic character of the area. Each building is designed to maximize space and natural light, creating comfortable and stylish living environments for our future residents. In addition to the living spaces, the development includes 19 parking spots, one of which is ADA accessible, ensuring convenience and accessibility for all.

The design of this building evolved to align with the client’s tastes and the cultural aesthetics of Chinatown. Adjustments aimed to harmonize the building’s appearance with the unique style of the neighborhood, combining modern elements with traditional Chinese architectural influences, resulting in a unique design.
